Hello friends, my name is Danny Fay and I am the founder of Hill of Tara Wines, a winery inspired by my Irish roots and named after Ireland’s sacred Hill of Tara, land that my family proudly farmed and preserved from 1928 to 1974. In pursuing my lifelong dream of organically framing my own grapes and handcrafting my own wines in my hometown, Hill of Tara Winery was born in 2015.
At Hill of Tara, our team is dedicated to creating wines with profound depth that are expressive of place and time. For us, this place is the unique and coveted Moon Mountain in the beautiful region of Sonoma Valley. Each bottle speaks as an homage to our Irish heritage and lineage of exceptional farming. It also speaks to the unique terroir on Moon Mountain, a special section of the Mayacamas mountain range separating Sonoma and Napa Valley.
